Abrahamic Family House – UAE
Case Study
Envisioned as a beacon of mutual understanding, harmonious coexistence and peace among people of all faiths, the Abrahamic Family House was a project commissioned by United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Award winning architect, Sir David Adjaye, designed three religious spaces — a mosque, a synagogue and a church meant to foster inter-faith dialogue and community. The challenge was to find an audio solution that could provide immersive, high-quality sound throughout these expansive spaces without marring the architectural design with visible equipment.
XYZ Cultural Technologies, the firm tasked with designing the audio system, chose Revolution Acoustics’ SSP6 Multiducer™ speakers because of their invisible integration and high-quality performance. Our speakers employ planar wave physics to use hard surfaces like walls and ceilings to generate sound.
“Revolution Acoustics SSP6 Multiducers were an obvious choice in achieving and delivering the high- level user experience intended. Incredibly immersive planar wave sound fields filled the space perfectly. The speaker's invisibility did not mar the architect's eloquent statement. Ease of installation and reliability equally helped us in our decision making.”
