SSP6 Multiducer™
At the core of our sound masking system is the SSP6 Multiducer™, an innovative transducer that operates on planar wave technology. Unlike traditional cone speakers or small “emitters”, which direct sound in a more focused propagation pattern, the SSP6 Multiducer™ disperses sound evenly across any surface it’s mounted on — be it walls, ceilings, or even furniture.
This approach, in conjunction with the Multiducer™ 's very wide sound propagation pattern, creates a uniform sound field that removes “hot spots” and “dead zones,” ensuring consistent sound masking coverage throughout the space. Even coverage is the objective in all sound masking installations.
Each Multiducer™ can replace up to nine traditional emitters, which reduces the number of devices needed and optimizes installation time. Further, unlike sound masking systems that require visible speakers throughout the space, the SSP6 sound masking system is completely embedded and invisible.
RevNet™ 2140 Amplifier For Sound Masking
Supporting the SSP6 Multiducers™ for sound masking is the RevNet™ 2140 Amplifier with a built-in sound masking generator. The amp’s digital sound processor sound masking section provides a fully tunable sound masking profile. Select a 70V or 100V load and using our SSP6 RAT1 transformer Doc, you are ready for small to extremely large scale sound masking deployments. It could not be simpler, cleaner, and more economical — facilitating seamless connectivity and control for large or complex installations.
